Natasha is, without question, one of the most amazing people I have come across in my professional career. Having collaboratively worked with her on several data mining projects ranging from customer segmentation to predictive modeling, I can honestly say that she brings much more to the table than a bunch of statistical formulas and algorithmic techniques. Natasha’s true talent lies in her ability to facilitate the answering of business questions. It’s easy for people to fall into the trap of poking around data to see what’s in there. But Natasha always brings things back around to the central question: “What are we trying to learn?” And once she becomes fixed on that, she invariably finds ways to torture the data until it confesses its secrets.
